Does the hypothesis need to be correct?

A hypothesis is a prediction, so it does not have to match the final result for an experiment to be useful. I once predicted that one solution would react faster, but my results showed the opposite. While writing about it, I searched for a lab report writing service and thought more carefully about what my experiment actually showed. Should students worry when their hypothesis is proven wrong?
